✨Monmouth Town Council offer thanks to Carbonne for their generous support✨
Monmouth Town Council would like to give thanks on behalf of Monmouth to Carbonne Town Council for their generous €2000 donation to the Monmouth Mayor’s Flood Recovery Fund and €1500 donation to the PTFA of Osbaston Church in Wales School. In addition to these very generous donations from official bodies, individuals in Carbonne have made personal donations to the Bridges appeal and the Mayor’s Fund.
#Monmouth Town Council
Monmouth and Carbonne have been twinned since 1975 and since 2018 Osbaston Church in Wales School have been working with L’École Élémentaire Henri Chanfreau in Carbonne on a “Posters, Penfriends and Friendship Project” which was supported at the start by a small Monmouth Town Council grant, with the aim of bringing pupils language learning to life. 2025 marked the 50th anniversary of Monmouth’s twinning with Carbonne, and there are many people in Carbonne who know Monmouth well and have friends here.
